The 60-second rule

Per-minute throughput beats raw per-clear rewards. The optimal farming stage is usually the highest stage you can clear in under 60 seconds per wave . The farm calculator picks that for you based on your current DPS.

•Bat → 1-7 City Outskirts Normal — 37% Bat spawn rate (1000 of 2700 weighted)
•Watcher → 2-5 Scorching Dunes Normal — 40% Giant Fly spawn rate (2000 of 5000)

Difficulty switching

Higher difficulties pay better for the same time investment only once you can clear them efficiently . The drop pool shifts toward higher-tier materials at Hell and Torment — don't stay on Normal past the point where you can comfortably clear Nightmare.
